Heading to NBA
CUSC
April 16, 2021
Mobley announced Friday that he intends to forgo his remaining eligibility at USC to enter the 2021 NBA Draft, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Mobley's decision to leave school after one season was fully expected, as he entered his freshman season at USC as one of the top recruits in the country. The seven-foot center lived up to his billing during his lone season in Los Angeles, averaging 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds 2.9 blocks and 2.4 assists in 33.9 minutes per game while shooting 57.8 percent from the floor. A candidate for a top-five selection in the draft, Mobley should have a long and successful career at the next level.
