Returning to Bryant
Timberlake said Monday that he will withdraw from the transfer portal and return to Bryant for the 2024-25 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Timberlake began his collegiate career at Miami (Fla.) in 2020-21 before leaving for Memphis in 2021-22 and then spending the past two seasons with Bryant. Rather than moving on to a fourth school for his final season of eligibility, he ultimately decided to stick around with the Bulldogs. His return is a major boon for Bryant after Timberlake averaged 14.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.2 blocks across 31 games (29 starts) during the 2023-24 season.
