Sills wasn't believed to have any eligibility left after he played five years of college basketball, spending three at Arkansas State, one at Arkansas State and one at Kansas State. He was an integral part of the Wildcats' run to the Elite Eight in 2023, finishing his lone campaign in Manhattan with averages of 8.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 29.5 minutes per game over 35 appearances (nine starts).
