Opting for pro ranks

Burke, who previously committed to join South Alabama in 2020-21 as a graduate transfer from Nebraska, announced Monday that he would forgo his remaining eligibility and turn pro, Jeff Goodman of WatchStadium.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Burke still intends to earn his degree from Nebraska in July, but his decision to sign with a non-NCAA-certified agent officially ends his collegiate career, opening up an extra scholarship for South Alabama in the process. As a junior at Nebraska last season, Burke averaged 12.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.3 assists and 1.2 three-pointers in 28.1 minutes per game over 29 appearances. Most outlets don't view him as a likely selection in the 2021 NBA Draft, so Burke is expected to begin his pro career in the G League or overseas.
