Bishop ended Sunday's 88-81 loss to Miami (FL) with seven points (2-4 FG, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and three assists over 22 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bishop provided decent production while stepping up into the starting lineup in place of Dylan Disu (foot). However, the 6-foot-7 senior didn't have the same effect on defense, as the Hurricanes were able to convert shoot 27-of-41 on attempts within the three-point line. With the Longhorns now out of the NCAA Tournament, Bishop will finish his fifth collegiate season averaging 6.6 points and 3.7 rebounds across 38 games. With Bishop's collegiate eligibility fully exhausted, freshman Dillon Mitchell figures to take on an even bigger role heading into the 2023-24 campaign.
