Carter was one of the top scores at Kansas State last season, so it's little surprise he's carried that play over to Baton Rouge. He and big man Jalen Reed figure to be the Tigers' top scoring tandem this season, and both put that on tape in the opener. If Carter, who shot 30 percent from deep last season, can even come close to the efficiency he displayed from downtown in the opener, his ceiling will increase dramatically.
