ANALYSIS
Carter has managed to increase both his scoring average and shooting percentage from last year's marks at Kansas State, and he now leads the Tigers with a 17.9 ppg scoring average. LSU basketball also got some bad news Wednesday with the announcement that starting center Jalen Reed (11.1 ppg) will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL, so Carter may be forced to take on even more of the scoring load.
