Foster (ankle) had eight points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal in Saturday's exhibition win over Lincoln (PA).
ANALYSIS
Foster was making his first appearance in a game setting for Duke since he missed the tail end of last season with an ankle injury. It certainly wasn't the best showing for Foster, but it does seem like he should be able to lock up a starting spot to begin the regular season on Nov. 4 against Maine. His problem is all the talented incoming freshman and transfers, and how much production does that leave available this season for a guy like Foster.
