Headed to Miami

April 3, 2024
Johnson has committed to Miami ahead of the 2024-25 season, Joe Tipton of On3.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Johnson will link up with the Hurricanes this offseason after spending the last three seasons with ECU. The 6-foot-8 junior started in 31 games during his last season with the program, averaging 14 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.7 steals on 34.6 minutes per game. Johnson's two-way ability and his consistency from range (shot 36.5 percent on 5.7 attempts per game last season) at his size, is sure to make him a valuable asset for the Hurricanes next season.
