Hardy disclosed Monday via his personal Twitter account that he will be signing with an agent and entering the 2021 NBA Draft.
ANALYSIS
Hardy was not expected to return to Oregon for a fifth and final year of eligibility, but rather than transfer, his future plans are now confirmed. His actual draft stock is a bit of a question mark, however, as Hardy had a limited role with Oregon in 2020-21. He began the year as a fill-in option at point guard for Will Richardson, averaging 6.1 points and 3.6 assists across 28.6 minutes in the first 14 games (13 starts). Hardy's playing time and production tailspinned after the return of Richardson, however, as he came off the bench for the next 14 games, averaging just 1.6 points and 0.8 assists over that span. His best collegiate season was the 2019-20 campaign with UNLV, when Hardy averaged 14.5 ppg, 3.3 rpg and 3.3 apg through 32 games (30 starts).
