Given how much I hated last night's lineups, I wasn't too upset about taking back $50, albeit on a $110 investment. That brings my bankroll down to $1301.24. I set two $25 Grand Slam ones today that I like quite a bit, in large part because I consulted no one else and didn't pick up any interference over my Twitter feed, probably because it's Saturday. Here they are:
Pos | $25 GS | $ | $25 GS | $ |
---|---|---|---|---|
P | Elias | 7700 | Bumgarner | 12600 |
C | Gattis | 3000 | Soto | 2200 |
1B | Gonzalez | 3000 | Fielder | 2600 |
2B | Dozier | 3000 | Johnson | 2600 |
3B | Wright | 3500 | Beltre | 2700 |
SS | Seager | 3100 | Seager | 3100 |
OF | Granderson | 3600 | Granderson | 3600 |
OF | Conforto | 3000 | Conforto | 3000 |
OF | Cespedes | 5100 | Crawford | 2600 |
Total | 35000 | Total | 35000 |
Bumgarner at home against the Padres is about as good as it gets, and I stacked Mets in both against Williams Perez. I also used Corey Seager in both against Rubby de la Rosa in Arizona, pairing with a Dodger in each. And Prince Fielder and Adrian Beltre are cheap and playing at home against a weak pitcher.
I also like Roenis Elias at home against the Rockies who are one of the league's worst teams on the road and against lefties.
