Due to the last minute Clayton Kershaw scratch, I had to scramble to re-set 11 of my 16 lineups and didn't have time to post any commentary. I would have added some after the games started, but Heather had a work commitment and asked me to take over for her mom at 4:30 PT in watching Sasha, our three-year old. She assured me she'd be back at 5:00, at which point it would probably still have been worth it to post. But Heather didn't come home until 5:45, by which too much had already happened.

It annoys the hell of out me when people sugarcoat the ask "It'll only be half an hour" to get you to do something, and then change the terms on your once you're already locked in. And while Heather probably thought she'd make it back by 5:00, in her heart of hearts she had to know that was a rosy estimate. No we're not getting a divorce - so to speak - over this, but I will throw her under the bus to explain why I didn't add commentary on my losing DFS lineups.

In any event, of those 12 lineups, only three cashed, the $25 heads up against kcannon, putting me at 6-3 against the pros, and two $12.50 minimum $5-Rallys. As such, I took in $70, but spent $115, for a loss of $45. That reduces my bankroll to 1182.60.

The Kershaw sub didn't hurt me too much except maybe in one contest, my $25 tournament entry where I scored 52.5 points with Madison Bumgarner and didn't cash (I can't remember on whom I used the savings from Kershaw to Bumgarner, so it's possible I wouldn't have won anyway.) But it was frustrating seeing my hitters go off and a pitcher I wasn't planning to use getting shelled.
