I had a few minutes, and threw together one $5 MLB Rally lineup for the late games.
Pos | $5 Rally | $ |
---|---|---|
P | Bettis | 5400 |
C | Vogt | 3000 |
1B | Ortiz | 3500 |
2B | Dozier | 3900 |
3B | Sano | 2600 |
SS | Tulowitzki | 4200 |
OF | Trout | 5400 |
OF | Gonzalez | 4200 |
OF | Upton | 2700 |
Total | 34900 |
I usually find a pitcher for whom to pay up, but when the best ones going are Kazmir, Richard and Ross, give me the discount and better hitting. Plus, Bettis isn't terrible, and he draws the mostly right-handed Padres in Petco. I didn't stack teams but I have two Rockies and two Twins and even used a player (Upton) against my own pitcher. I would never do that if I were starting Kershaw and needed 18 points to justify the cost, but in this case, I'm hoping for 10, and that permits a homer or even two from Upton.
