Just a few things that caught my eye:
- Marian Hossa may have done more than interfere (cough, cough) with Ben Bishop. Groin pull? Knee tweak? Uh-oh. This may now be Andrej Vasilevskiy's Cup to win.
- Yoo-hoo, Patrick Kane -- you can come out to play now. No points in two and now no shots in one? Are the Bolts really that good that you can't find your way?
- "Just OK." That's Joel Quenneville's assessment of his goalie. Care to disagree? Thought not.
- The Triplets came back to life. Game 2s really seem to really wake them up. 'Bout time. They'd had just three goals and eight points, four of which came in garbage time, in their previous five games.
- After nine points in his first nine games this postseason, Patrick Sharp has just four points -- all assists -- in 10 games since. And no goals in 11. But hey -- just one of his brain farts Saturday resulted in a goal ... trouble is, it was the game winner. #NewCityComing.
- Tyler Johnson and Nikita Kucherov are 1-2 in postseason scoring. Steven Stamkos is 10th. No-one predicted that. They're blowing smoke up your you-know-what if they did.
- Duncan Keith is the best defender in the NHL. But Victor Hedman sure isn't far off.
- Back to Patrick Kane. The last time he was held without a shot was almost six months ago (Jan. 16). He's only been held shotless three times since the start of the season. No wonder Saturday felt so weird.
- Pick one, for now and for the future: Teuvo Teravainen or Jonathan Drouin. I'd say the Hawks are set. Don't you?
