I was at Christmas party in London during these games, and everyone including me got pretty pissed, so I missed them live. I got the score the the Redskins-Titans on my phone and couldn't bring myself to re-watch it, so for that I'll only comment on the results. For the Ravens - on whom I made a bet to win the AFC at 18:1 before the game - and who were one of my best bets, I saw it was 6-3 at the half, but rewatched the entire edited version of the game from the start. Both the Redskins and Ravens were Supercontest picks too.

• Lamar Jackson had some errant throws, but the ball he dropped into Mark Andrews for a 68-yard TD was perfect. Jackson is probably the best running QB in the league, but he keeps his focus down the field when scrambling. He's a massive upgrade from Joe Flacco and a top-10 fantasy QB heading into 2019.

• Gus Edwards had 14 carries for 92 yards and remains the team's top back. He delivers the body-blows and keeps the chains moving. Kenneth Dixon had eight carries for 28 yards and caught two passes for 20, but lost a key fumble.

• No one on the Chargers did much. Justin Jackson (10-7-47) did most of his work as a receiver out of the backfield in the Austin Ekeler role , while Melvin Gordon (12-41-1, 3-3-13) returned and more or less looked like himself against a tough defense.

• The Ravens dominated Philip Rivers (181 yards, 4.9 YPA, no TDs, two picks, four sacks.) He got jobbed on a couple ticky-tack penalties early, but he couldn't solve the Ravens defense.

• Justin Tucker missed two FGs (one from 64 yards and one from 53), but made three including a 56-yarder that he drilled down the middle. It's nice having a fantasy kicker who gets the chance from those distances.

• I knew 10 points was way too big a line for the Titans to cover. Was there some reason the Titans didn't have a PAT after the return TD at the end of the game?

• Unfortunately, I sat Adrian Peterson (26-for-119) for Alfred Blue at the last minute once I heard Lamar Miller was scratched. Peterson cracked 1,000 yards this year and actually had a nice season filling in for the injured Derrius Guice.

• Derrick Henry kept it rolling during his improbable fantasy playoff run with 84 yards and his seventh TD in three weeks.

• Marcus Mariota was playing well but got hurt yet again near the end of the first half. Blaine Gabbert finished the game off and would be in line to start in a potentially big game against the Colts in Week 17 if Mariota can't go. The Titans are in a tough spot with Mariota, now four years into his career, as it's still not clear whether he's their long-term QB.
