Just a few things that caught my eye;

• Jean-Gabriel Pageau, hometown hero. There will never be a bigger day in his life ... unless there's a silver chalice involved. Wow!
• Marc-Andre Fleury kept the the Pens in the game when the Caps owned them in the first. His Conn Smythe will look great in Vegas. Or Calgary.

• I own Brady Skjei in several fantasy leagues. I am never letting go.
• Sucks to be an Orcas fan. That's a team that has an anchor tied to it. The only solace? It's supposed to be a weak draft class.
• Time to shave the beard, Braden Holtby. Maybe chug a little Pepto Bismol.
• Connor McDavid had just five points, including two goals, in eight postseason games. I can't wait for him to explode.
• Cam Talbot battles Marc-Andre Fleury for Lord Stanley. Discuss.
• Vladimir Tarasenko woke up Friday night. He needs to stay that way if the Blues are to beat the Preds.
• Vegas now sees the Oilers as the odds-on fave for the Cup. Wasn't it just a couple months ago that people were chanting "your D sucks"?
• Four teams, 19 goals. I LOVE it!
• Corey Perry looks completely disengaged. How long ago was it that he won the MVP? Yah, it was recent. Real recent.
• Ryan Getzlaf was arguably the best player on the ice Friday night. There was magic every time he touched the puck. Lever that and trade his butt in every keeper league you have. Next year, his totals fall off the proverbial cliff. There will be no-one there good enough for him to set up. You've been warned.
• Any chance we see Antti Raanta next game?
• 10 points, including seven goals, in his last six games. Or four goals and six points in eight games. I'm taking Jake Guentzel, not Alexander Ovechkin. Yep. Those are their respective tallies.
