Just a few things that caught my eye:

• Welcome to Broadway, Martin St. Louis -- you successfully elicited the patented stink eye and verbal abuse from Henrik Lundqvist after the errant tip of Andrew MacDonald's point shot. He's been doing it for years, only to apparently express some kind of remorse the next day. At some point, you have to think that wears guys a little thin.

• Mike Brown and Raffi Torres -- what an antidote to the Kings so-called physical advantage. Still, there were 121 hits in that game. Yes, 121. No matter who wins in the West, they'll limp into the Cup final. Yikes.

• How long before the Olympic hangover shows its ugly face? Scoring for Olympians was already trending downward -- what happens when games stretch by so many OTs? We might not see it during the first round, but it'll be a problem in the later rounds. Mark my words.

• Who had a rougher start -- Ryan Miller or Jonathan Quick? Miller allowed two goals through his body in the first and was undressed by Patrick Kane. Jonathan Quick got hung out to dry by his teammates and let the Sharks push him off his game. Both will bounce back, but I'd still rather have Quick than Miller.

• So ... Paul Stastny's contract demands this summer just went up a half-mil. Game-tying and game-winning goals? Cha-ching. Personally, it'd take Ryan O'Reilly on my team long before Stastny, but someone will overpay.

• Who's the breakout boy of this postseason? Tomas Hertl, Vladimir Tarasenko or Jaden Schwartz? I'm tapping Schwartz for my team every time. There's a little bit of Jonathan Toews in that kid.

• Best saves of the night? Maxim Lapierre saved the game in the first OT. Ryan Miller owes him a 2-4. Erik Johnson saved the Avs in the third. Patrick Roy owes him the 2-4.

• Goat of the night? Jason Akeson. Poor guy. The Flyers would have lost any way, so don't pin it on him. The Flyers have lost nine straight at MSG. This is just a bad matchup for the orange and black.

• Luck is with the Ducks -- Ryan Getzlaf will play Saturday. There is NO WAY he should be blocking shots. He limped off after the first two and then almost broke his jaw on that third. The Quackers' playoff hopes hang on that jaw. I get it that it shows good Canadian leadership, but seriously?

• I heard the moans from Toronto when Alexander Steen potted that winner. Oh, the one that got away ...
