Just a few things that caught my eye ...
- Is it me or did Daniel Alfredsson's post-game handshakes look a little on the final side? I hope not -- he was the best Sen on the ice.
- John Madden zigged when he should have zagged -- it's remarkable he could come back from this hit. No more pretty boy after that.
- Adam Henrique had looked overwhelmed in the first six games. Not any more.
- Seven games, three points including just one goal. Yes, I'm looking at you, Marian Gaborik. When are you planning on showing up?
- Joel Ward deserved far, far better than the disgusting and classless attacks from Twitterville last night. C'mon, people -- would you use racial epithets like that if you weren't sitting in your underwear in your mama's basement, feeling all bold?
- Geez, do you think the Panthers just needed a power-play goal to get rolling? Didn't they score something like 25 percent of their goals there this season? Maybe it isn't that high but it's high ...
- Brad Richards was to Vincent Lecavalier as Adam Henrique was to Taylor Hall. The junior parallels are scary; the pro parallels could be even scarier. Seriously.
- Craig Anderson was amazing; Henrik Lundqvist was freaking amazing.
- Zdeno Chara, Shea Weber and Erik Karlsson were great choices for the Norris. Is there any chance a guy like Dan Girardi would ever get a nom? He didn't have the points this season but his game is as complete -- and as dominating -- as anyone out there.
- I don't ever get tired of overtime. Just really, really tired after overtime.
