-Ray Allen thinks the addition of O'Neal brothers – Shaq and Jermaine – will help him get more open looks. Besides offering a nice low-post tandem, the two should provide excellent screens for Ray to run off of. In the past Allen has only needed a small window to get his shot off; this season he should get even more time to shoot from downtown.
-Anthony Randolph may start at center for the Knicks. This move would be a boost for his playing time and in turn his fantasy value. He doesn't fit the profile of a prototypical NBA center with regards to size but it's possible he could work out in the D'Antoni system. This could be the year he becomes a nightly double-double with a good amount of blocks thrown in.
-Carlos Arroyo has impressed Coach Spoelestra so far during camp. Arroyo would make a nice late pick for assists if he ends up starting with the "Big 3".
-Roy Hibbert had his option picked by the Pacers. Playing time shouldn't be any issue with Troy Murphy taking his trade to New Jersey. If he has learned to stay out of foul trouble, Hibbert will be ready to have a breakout season.
-Mickael Pietrus has been "unbelievable" in camp so far according to Coach Stan Van Gundy. Pietrus has shown flashes of fantasy potential in the past so keep on eye on his status heading into the season.
-In something of an odd story, Al Thornton was hit by a slow moving car and escaped any type of harmful injury.
-Stephen Jackson spoke highly about the increased leadership role D.J. Augustin has taken on. With Raymond Felton now in New York, Augustin is another nice sleeper at point guard later in drafts.
