If there's one AL pitcher coming off a good year for whom I'd consider paying the full freight, it's Zack Greinke. Just dominant, in his prime and doesn't labor as much as Verlander or the King. Luke Hochevar is worth a gamble based on upside. Brian Bannister strikes me as a guy who will hang around awhile and get better because of his intelligence.
Billy Butler is young enough (24 in April) to get a lot better. Alex Gordon should, too, but obviously carries more risk. I expect Gordon to be a bargain in some places, but I don't think he's in Delmon Young/Jeremy Hermida territory yet. Why can't Chris Getz steal 30 bags? Why can't Scott Podsednik steal 40? Rick Ankiel and Jose Guillen will hit 20 homers, but it'll be ugly.
Brayan Pena's an interesting second catcher for LABR. I know the Royals signed Kendall, but Pena's got a little pop and could hit 10 homers in 200-plus at-bats.
