I know they played worse than usual in Game 1, but has any superstar won 66 games with a such a weak supporting cast? Patrick Ewing comes closest - John Starks was the team's go-to perimeter scorer, roughly equal to Mo Williams - but the Knicks didn't win 66, and they were never really the favorite to win the title with Jordan and then Hakeem around.

It's too bad Kevin Garnett got hurt, because that stifling Celtics defense that took apart Kobe in the finals last year, would be a great match-up against James.

As it stands, I still think the Cavs have a 55 percent chance to win this series, but it's not going to be easy. Hedo Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis are |STAR|far|STAR| better than any other player on the Cavs, and Stan Van Gundy has the team focused and confident.

One other note - Chauncey Billups is a Hall of Famer in my mind. The guy just hits huge shot after huge shot. I expect the Lakers to need at least six if not seven to win it, and there's a 30 percent chance they don't. I think it would be hilarious if we had a Nuggets-Magic final, considering how much money the network has on the Lakers-Cavs making it. If they were smart, they'd go to Vegas and hedge big time on the money line on the Nuggets and Magic.
