Pokusevski flashed some intriguing upside down the stretch during 2021-22, putting up top-150 value over the final two months. In 28 minutes per game, he compiled averages of 11.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.7 steals, to go with 1.3 triples per game. The fact that Chet Holmgren has been ruled out for the season with a foot injury does open to door for Pokusevski to have a slightly larger role than anticipated. With that being said, he remains largely unproven, so managers in standard formats should view him as a last-round flier, at best, until we see otherwise.
Pokusevski is one of the rawest prospects in recent memory, but the Thunder weren't shy about giving him plenty of run at the NBA level following the short G League season. In his final 28 appearances, the 7-foot, 190-pound forward averaged 11.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 28.4 minutes. However, he shot just 37/32/74 and committed more turnovers (2.8) than assists. Despite his struggles, there's a good chance he opens the 2021-22 season as the starter at small forward. When his shot is falling, Pokusevski has the talent to stuff the stat sheet since he's an above-average passer for his position, and he has natural rebounding and defensive upside given his height. There will be plenty of up-and-down performances for the 19-year-old out of Serbia, but he's an intriguing dynasty league option and could be worth a look with the final pick in a redraft league.
Pokusevski is an 18-year-old 7-footer out of Serbia who weighs just 201 pounds. However, for his height, he has great ball-handling, playmaking and shooting skills. The main issue early in his career will be his weight, as he's really one of the thinnest players in recent memory. It's possible he won't reach his potential until he further fills out his frame, and he might not be an every-day player to start his NBA career. Pokusevski can largely be ignored in standard, and maybe even deep, redraft leagues. Dynasty and keeper leagues are a different story, as he could be worth a flier there as a long-term add.
