Recent RotoWire Articles Featuring Festus Ezeli See More
As the NBA’s first quarter draws to a close, Jeff Stotts looks at some of the most notable injuries so far, including Blake Griffin, who’ll have surgery on his right knee and most likely miss a month.

2012
Ezeli returned to active duty in 2014-15 after sitting out the entire 2013-14 season while recovering from surgery on his ACL and MCL in his right knee. A combination of a relatively healthy Andrew Bogut and an increasing reliance on small-ball lineups left Ezeli with little playing time. He averaged just 11 minutes per game in 46 games. At this stage of his career, Ezeli is all defense. He averaged 3.0 blocks and 11.1 rebounds per 36 minutes. Offensively, his hands have gotten better, though he's still very much limited to dunks and put-backs. He's entering the final year of his rookie deal, and the Warriors want to retain him at a reasonable price. Bogut's still around for another two years, but the organization is interested in having an inexpensive and familiar in-house option as a replacement.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could make G League comeback
Ezeli is eligible to sign with any G League franchise and could make a comeback to the NBA sooner than later, speculates Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
Ezeli has logged 170 NBA appearances throughout his career but hasn't played since the 2016 NBA Finals due to recurrent knee injuries. He is in quarantine in the G League bubble in Orlando and can be picked up by any team, though -- that would be the first step towards eventually making a comeback to The Association.
