Delaney, an undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech, was able to make the Hawks roster out of camp and regularly served as a depth option at point guard, battling with Jose Calderon for minutes off the bench. He finished his rookie season averaging 5.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists across 17.1 minutes, although he struggled to show any semblance of a three-point shot with a 23.6 percent clip from deep. While the Hawks essentially cleared house of all the big names, including Paul Millsap, Dwight Howard and Tim Hardaway Jr., Dennis Schroder is still on the team and will remain the starting point guard, so Delaney shouldn't see much of an increase in his role. He figures to open the year as Schroder's backup with Calderon no longer around, which could result in a few more minutes from last season. However, unless an injury occurs to Schroder, that should keep Delaney as a non-factor in Fantasy leagues.
