FanDuel NBA: Friday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Friday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The NBA's best defensive team against the best offensive has been a solid series, but also has been significanly affected by injuries. With Tony Allen's (hamstring) status still up in the air, the Warriors should have the edge in Memphis on Friday. In Washington, the Wizards will get John Wall back again, and he should get better in his second appearance since suffering the wrist injury. With both the Wiz and Grizz in danger of losing the series, I expect those team's stars to show up Friday night.

Friday Value Plays

Point Guard

John Wall, WAS, $9,500
I Didn't think a recommendation and "broken bones in hand" would ever go together, but Wall played thirty-seven very good minutes against Atlanta, and best off all should only get better. If he can avoid aggrevating his injury, he has elite upside Friday night.

Stephen Curry, GS, $10,100
With a chance to clinch the series for the Warriors, I expect Curry to put up a big night statistically. He's averaged 23 points and 5.8 assists in this series, and could see the ball in his hands even more often in this key game.

Dennis Schroder, ATL, $4,400
Schroder is simply intriguing at this price, scoring over 20 FPTs in each of the last four games in this series. His low price tag will allow you to spend more at other positions, if needed.

Shooting Guard

Vince Carter, MEM, $2,700
In a possibly decisive Game 6, Carter has had reasonable production in very limited time. Maybe he gets over that 24 minute plateau and reaches his 20+ FPT potential – which at this price is fantastic value. Carter has some value with or without Tony Allen (hamstring), but he has a tad more upside with Allen limited or out.

Small Forward

Andre Iguodala, LAC, $4,200
Iguodala has found his niche off the bench in this series and now has over 20 FPTs in consecutive outings. The price is right and allows FanDuel users to spend big at other positions.

Power Forward

Nene Hilario, PF, WAS $4,000
Hilario is averaging a healthy 28.2 FPTs over the last three games of the series, and possibly best of all, took a series high eleven field goals last game. With John Wall in the lineup, Washington may not feel the need to go to the smaller lineup with Pierce and Porter they'd relied on so heavily during his abscense, which favors more court time for Hilario and Gortat.

Center

Al Horford, ATL, $7,900
Horford had a great start last game, including five blocks, 49.2 FPTs, and a game winning layup. With his confidence high, Al likely will be the top-scoring center on the night.
