Galindo is on the 7-day DL at Low-A South Bend with shoulder and leg injuries, John Manuel of Baseball America reports.
ANALYSIS
The 20-year-old corner infielder posted a .290/.350/.432 slash line with four home runs and a manageable 22.6 percent strikeout rate prior to the injury. He is a high-risk proposition, but his big raw power makes him an intriguing commodity in deeper dynasty leagues.

2017 Fantasy Outlook
In the search for the next great Cubs hitting prospect, Galindo is the top player to track in 2017. He is clandestine enough to be available in most dynasty leagues while still offering the loud offensive tools of players like Kris Bryant, Kyle Schwarber and Eloy Jimenez before him. Galindo wields heavy lumber for his age, is listed conservatively at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds and posted a 122 wRC+ as a 19-year-old with short-season Eugene. He utilized his plus-plus raw power to belt nine home runs, which ranked second in the Northwest League behind a 23-year-old non-prospect. Naturally there is a lot of swing and miss (28.7 percent strikeout rate), but he also works the count well for his age (11.7 percent walk rate), and as long as he can keep his strikeout rate under 30 percent, he will be able to get his power to play in games. The Midwest League will serve as a significant test, but if he rakes, Galindo's stock will explode.
