Moves on to KBO
Craig agreed Tuesday with the Korea Baseball Organization's Kiwoom Heroes on a one-year, $371,000 contract, Jee-ho Yoo of the Yonhap News Agency reports.
ANALYSIS
Pirates general manager Ben Cherington previously said over the weekend that Craig planned to explore opportunities in Asia, so the 26-year-old's decision to move to the KBO doesn't come out of nowhere. Since being selected in the first round of the 2016 first-year player draft, Craig struggled to live up to expectations, as he'll move on from Pittsburgh having appeared in only 20 games with the big club while batting .203.

James Anderson provides his first base prospect tiers, featuring Alex Kirilloff, who could debut this summer for the Twins.
James Anderson breaks down all the fantasy-relevant prospects in the NL Central led by Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson, who is poised to make a big-league impact this summer.
2017 Fantasy Outlook
The 22nd overall pick in the 2016 draft got off to a rough start in rookie ball, going 4-for-30 with the West Virginia Black Bears. Craig then posted a .303/.422/.394 line the rest of the way (232 plate appearances). Pittsburgh selected the 6-foot-3, 230-pound slugger for his power but he went deep just two times and drove in 19 runs. He previously struggled with wooden bats in the Cape Cod League, so it will be interesting to track his power progress. Unfortunately, PNC Park is one of the worst locations for right-handed power hitters. Craig did continue to show fantastic plate discipline last summer, walking more frequently than he struck out (41:37 BB:K). He's a poor fielder -- registering an .889 fielding percentage at third base -- but the 22-year-old could eventually slide over to first base. He'll look to improve upon his defense in 2017 and rediscover the power stroke he displayed at Wake Forest University.
