Mike Freeman

Freeman's season was filled with highs and lows. Things started well, as he raked Triple-A pitching and earned his first callup to the big leagues, but his happiness was short-lived. He went 0-for-9 with five strikeouts in his brief stint with Arizona prior to being designated for assignment. The 29-year-old was plucked off waivers by the Mariners, but he struggled during his stints in Seattle as well. Freeman's biggest asset is his defensive versatility, as he has experience playing at every position outside of the battery. However, his lack of power and inability to hit advanced pitching may keep him stuck on the periphery of the major leagues.
