Jaylin Davis

Davis appeared in only four games in 2020, going 2-for-12 with one extra-base hit and six strikeouts. The big problem is that Davis is limited to right field, defensively -- or at least the Giants have only trusted him to play right field so far in the big leagues. Mike Yastrzemski has staked claim to that spot in San Francisco, and without the ability to move around capably, Davis has limited avenues to playing time. He has put together an impressive minor-league resume, including wRC+ marks of at least 117 at all but one stop on the farm, with his walk rate improving in recent seasons. Stolen bases have not been a big part of the package to this point, but Davis' sprint speed ranked in the 97th percentile in 2020, hinting at some upside in that department. He is a talent worth monitoring but probably needs an injury or a trade to gain fantasy relevance in 2021.
