Cody Hall

Hall had a solid but unspectacular year with Triple-A Sacramento in 2015, finishing with a 3.46 ERA and a 7.3 K/9. Those numbers were serviceable, but they were a step back from his numbers with Double-A Richmond a year prior (3.14 ERA and 9.9 K/9). Hall got a taste of the big leagues in September, but he was hit hard. He has a solid fastball-slider combination, but the criticism on Hall is that he leaves too many pitches over the plate. That likely explains his dominance at the lower levels of the minors and his struggles with more recent promotions. Hall should start the year back in the minors, but he will likely be an option to be called up if the Giants' bullpen suffers an injury or two.
