Tarpley came to the Pirates as part of the return for Travis Snider and the results have paid dividends. The left-hander went 11-4 with a 2.48 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 105:25 K:BB ratio for Low-A West Virginia. He limited left-handed hitters to a .203/.282/.263 slash line. Tarpley also did better on the road than at home. The 23-year-old went 8-0 with a 1.63 ERA and 1.01 WHIP away from home. Look for Tarpley to take the next step to High-A Bradenton in 2016.
