Rest-of-Season Projections
Released by Dodgers
Anderson was released by the Dodgers on Saturday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
ANALYSIS
A 2013 first-round pick, Anderson has never panned out for the Dodgers, compiling a 4.37 ERA over four minor-league seasons. He was converted from a starter to a reliever last season in hopes of a revival, but failed to impress and was demoted to High-A Rancho Cucamonga. He'll look to latch on somewhere else in hopes of continuing his career.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2015
2014
After a promising stint at Low-A in 2013, Anderson’s shaky control caught up with him and he posted a 4.62 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP in 134.1 innings at High-A Rancho Cucamonga. A first-round pick out of college in the 2013 draft, Anderson will presumably spend most of 2015 at Double-A as a 22-year-old, but his command remains the key. He missed plenty of bats (24.3% K%) at High-A, but his stuff doesn't really project to produce above-average strikeout totals as he continues to move up the ladder, so if he can’t straighten out his command, Anderson will inevitably end up in the bullpen. He is worth holding for another season in deeper dynasty formats, but his stock is trending downward.
More Fantasy News
Anderson appears to be moving to the bullpen with High-A Rancho Cucamonga after starting the season with a 5.79 ERA and ugly 20:27 K:BB in 28 innings in Double-A, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
