Chad Rogers

Rogers is the type of pitcher where the ERA typically is better than what his stuff would indicate. More often than not, those types of pitchers fail in the majors, though not universally -- remember, Tony Cingrani somewhat resembled that classification before 2013, though Cingrani had a much higher draft pedigree. Rogers struggled initially upon reaching Triple-A last year, so don't look for the Reds to be in any sort of hurry to promote him to the big leagues.
