ANALYSIS
Clark's numbers look pretty good at first glance, but he has not taken advantage of the thin Colorado air as well as some of his teammates, and owns a 2:16 BB:K ratio on the season. He could be an option for the big club at some point this season, but would likely need an injury to Adam Lind to even have a chance at any sort of regular playing time.

Thanks to the Brewers acquiring Adam Lind last offseason, Clark was relegated to spending the entire year with Triple-A Colorado Springs. The left-hander was able to produce a good year while in the minors, posting a .291/.367/.492 line thanks to 20 home runs and a career-high 34 doubles. Clark still strikes out a fair amount (19.3% K%), but 2015 marked a definite improvement from the 24.4% K% he posted in 2014 in Triple-A. If he lands on a big league roster in 2016, it will likely be as a callup when injuries deplete the organizational depth in front of him.

After spending five years in the Padres’ minor league system, a year in Japan, and most of the 2014 season in the minors, Clark made his big league debut last September with the Brewers. He failed to make much contact, but did sock three home runs in the season’s final month. Clark is a long shot to open 2015 with the Brewers after the team acquired fellow left-handed first baseman Adam Lind during the offseason, but Lind has had trouble staying healthy the last few seasons, and Clark would likely be next in line should Lind miss any time.
