Elmer Reyes

With single-season career highs in the minor leagues of five homers and eight steals (six seasons), Reyes isn't likely to ever become much of a fantasy commodity, but the Braves valued him enough to add him to their 40-man roster in November 2013 for Rule 5 protection. He finished with a respectable .295/.329/.422 batting line in 113 games between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett in 2014, but drew all of 12 walks in 449 plate appearances (2.3%) while striking out at a 20.7% clip, up from 15.5% in 2013. Alberto Callaspo is expected to open the year as the starter at second base for Atlanta, and Jose Peraza is the future at the position, so Reyes will likely be limited to utility duty in 2015 and beyond.
