Belnome was outrighted off the 40-man roster after the 2014 season. He has spent nearly all of the past two seasons in Triple-A Durham where he hit .274/.383/.408. He can draw his walks, but he also strikes out way too much for someone with just gap power and he doesn’t show much speed. The Rays' farm system is not terribly deep, but it is quite crowded up the middle and Belnome is going to spend more time in Triple-A as long as he remains in the organization.
