Rest-of-Season Projections
Dwyer agreed to a minor league deal with the Orioles on Tuesday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Dwyer spent the entirety of 2015 with the Royals' Triple-A affiliate, working to a 4.01 ERA with just a 63:55 K:BB ratio in 33 appearances (10 starts). The 27-year-old has pitched in just two major league games in his career, so he figures to serve more as organizational depth both in the rotation and in the bullpen for the Orioles.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2014
2012
2011
Dwyer completed his first full season at the Triple-A level last year and while he made 29 appearances (28 starts) and posted a 3.55 ERA over 159.2 innings, his 1.56 K/BB and 4.34 FIP made him a little less attractive of an option. Granted, he improved on his 50.1-inning appearance at the same level the year before, but a 6.3 K/9 at Triple-A isn't exactly considered impressive. He'll likely stay at the same level in 2014 and will need to make bigger strides if he hopes to advance further within the organization, but unless there's a dramatic turnaround, he'll probably stay right where he is now.
