Rest-of-Season Projections
Sent back to minors
Ladendorf was sent back to Triple-A Iowa on Monday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ladendorf was added to the active roster for the final series of the regular season as part of a group of players filling in for others who had landed on the COVID-19 injured list, so he could be removed from the 40-man roster without being designated for assignment. He went 0-for-1 in his lone appearance, his first big-league action since 2016.

2016 Fantasy Outlook
Ladendorf broke camp with the A's, but it turned out to be a short stay once the A's got a couple players off the disabled list after the first week of the season. A few weeks after being optioned to Triple-A, Ladendorf suffered a an ankle injury that required surgery and he missed a majority of the season limiting his year to only 100 at-bats across all levels. He had a solid 2014 year in Triple-A, hitting .297 with a .782 OPS, but was also suspended for 50 games due to a positive drug test. Much of Ladendorf's value to a team is hidden in his ability to play multiple infield positions and the outfield, and he impressed the A's with a .783 OPS in spring training over 66 at-bats. If Ladendorf can find a way to get onto the A's roster, his fantasy value is severely limited by his lack of power and speed, while he did steal 20 bases in High-A in 2010, he has not had a double-digit homer or steal season since.
