Freddy Dolsi

Dolsi split time between Triple-A Toledo and Detroit in 2009. He finished 1-0 with an 1.69 ERA in six appearances out of the Tigers' bullpen, but Dolsi continued to show inconsistencies with his control. After recording a 31:19 K:BB ratio with the Mud Hens, he continued the trend with three strikeouts and four walks with the Tigers. Dolsi’s strength remains his mid-90s heater, but he’ll need to develop a secondary pitch and better control to become an effective reliever for Detroit.
