When not chasing after the heart of Beth Truss while daring to ski the K12...wait, we're being told in the earpiece that this outlook is for Dane Myers and not Lane Meyer. Dane will be 28 before the season starts and has fewer than 100 plate appearances in a big league uniform with an unusual minor league career. He has always been old for his level, including in 2022 when he had a 20-20 season for Detroit's Double-A franchise at the age of 26. Myers was picked up by Miami in the Triple-A phase of the Rule V draft and made some swing adjustments to cut down on his strikeouts and finished with 15 homers and 20 steals between Double-A and Triple-A before a late callup. At age 28, it is now or never for Myers and he absolutely has a chance to pick up a reserve outfield spot off the bench with a great camp. He can safely be put in wait and see mode in NL-Only leagues for now. Read Past Outlooks
