Jake Fraley

Fraley was banged up throughout the 2024 season and landed on the injured list in August with a right knee sprain. In between the fits and starts, he managed just five home runs across 382 plate appearances, presumably related to his various health woes. The outfielder still reached 20 steals for the second straight year and finished strong with a .299/.353/.455 line in September. Fraley made six starts and totaled 33 plate appearances against left-handed pitching last season, and he is unlikely to be more than a platoon player under new manager Terry Francona. Nonetheless, Fraley is a bounce-back candidate and has appeal as a late-round outfielder given his well-rounded skill set and opportunity in an advantageous home park. Read Past Outlooks
