PITCHER

Chris Archer, TB vs. KC ($21,000): The Royals have found their bats the past two nights, but it appears to be fool's gold. It's one thing to get to the likes of Blake Snell and Matt Andriese, it's an entirely different thing to get to Archer. Archer has been a bit inconsistent this season, but his upside is still high and he gets a great matchup against a Royals team that is in the bottom-five in wOBA against right-handed pitchers, as well as a 20.8 percent strikeout rate.

Yu Darvish, TEX vs.SD ($20,700): Darvish's strikeouts are down this season, but a matchup with the Padres could help. The Padres looked like a different team Monday when they hammered Nick Marinez, but after witnessing what A.J. Griffin did to them Tuesday, it seems clear that Monday was just an aberration. The Padres are sixth-worst in wOBA against righties this season and they hold the second-worst K% against righties. Meanwhile, Darvish comes in off three consecutive quality starts, including 23 strikeouts in his past 21 innings.

INFIELD

Freddie Freeman, ATL at HOU ($9,300): Freeman broke out of a three-game "slump" Tuesday night, and with Joe Musgrove on the hill Wednesday, he's probably about to go on another run. Prior to that three-game stretch, Freeman posted seven consecutive games with double-digit fantasy points, and he still comes in seventh in the league with a .481 wOBA against righties. Musgrove has fared better this season against lefties than he has in previous seasons, but the correction should come soon.

Marwin Gonzalez, HOU vs. ATL ($7,200): I'm hopeful Gonzalez will be back in the lineup Wednesday because he'll have a great opportunity to produce. Opposing starter Jaime Garcia is off to a decent start this season, but he's struggling against righties, which works well for Gonzalez, who leads the team in wOBA against left-handed pitching this season.

Javier Baez, CHC at COL ($9,200): With all the big bats in the Cubs' lineup, it's hard to believe that Baez actually has the highest wOBA against righties this season. He started the season slowly, but he's starting to heat up, with double-digit fantasy points in three of his past four games. A matchup with German Marquez could lead to more points, as Marquez has three starts this season and while one was impressive, the other two were awful.

OUTFIELD

Jay Bruce, NYM vs. SF ($9,200): Is Matt Cain back to his form of recent years? He got off to a surprisingly strong start this season, but he was pounded in his most recent start. Is this the beginning of a bad run or just a blip on the radar? After witnessing his form over the past couple seasons, I'm in the bad run camp. Either way, Bruce should be able to take advantage, as he is ninth in the league in wOBA against righties (.461) this season.

Keon Broxton, MIL vs. BOS ($7,600): Broxton isn't the first name you come upon when thinking about the Brewers' powerful lineup, but he's been a productive member for much of the season. In fact, he's second on the team in wOBA against righties, trailing only the red-hot Eric Thames. Kyle Kendrick was a fill-in for the injured Steven Wright last week and he didn't exactly fill-in admirably, surrendering six runs in just four innings, which, given his performance over the past couples seasons, wasn't much of a surprise.

Magneuris Sierra, STL vs. MIA ($4,800): If you are in need of a low-priced option to fill out your lineup, then Sierra is your man. He has only played three games this season, but he's produced points in all three. His best game came Tuesday night when he notched two hits, two runs and a walk. He's stuck at the bottom of the lineup for now, but just look at teammate Thomas Pham to see what's possible from the bottom of the order. Sierra will face Tom Koehler in what looks to be a good matchup, as lefties have posted a .510 wOBA against him this season.

UTLIITY

Eric Thames, MIL vs. BOS ($9,000): The Brewers pounded a good pitcher Tuesday night in Drew Pomeranz and now they get a terrible one in Kyle Kendrick. Everything is aligned for a big night from the Brewers, but sometimes in this game, things just don't go the way you expect. With that said, I have to believe the numbers and the numbers tell me that a guy like Thames should hammer Kendrick. Thames continues to rake at a very high rate and entering this game, he leads the Brewers in wOBA against righties at .453.

Paul Goldschmidt, AZ vs. DET ($9,300):Matt Boyd takes the hill for the Tigers, and though he's improved since last season, he's still struggling with righties. Goldschmidt is off to a great start this season, and if not for Eric Thames and Freddie Freeman, he'd probably be getting more attention. Goldschmidt is averaging 11.06 fantasy points per game, which put him among the best in baseball. His matchup against Boyd looks very favorable, as Boyd struggles with righties and Goldschmidt's .470 wOBA against lefties (including .504 at Chase Field) is the eighth-best mark in the league.
