PITCHER
Zack Godley, AZ at SD ($15,000): There are no great options on this slate, but Godley is one a few who could be considered good. A lot of that has to do with the opposition, as the Padres are a bottom-five team in wOBA against righties this season and are second-worst in K%. Meanwhile, Godley has 19 strikeouts in just under 19 innings and he's posted a 1.93 ERA this year.
Adam Wainwright, STL vs. SF ($14,100): Wainwright doesn't strike many out, but the Giants have the worst wOBA against righties this season, but their strikeout rate is among the best, so any points accumulated against them are going to come via a win and scoreless innings. That's why Wainwright is a good fit here. Wainwright is coming off his best performance of the season in his last start when he went seven scoreless against the Cubs.
INFIELD
Cesar Hernandez, PHI at PIT ($7,800): The Phillies look like one of the better stacks, but they come with some risk as they aren't generally reliable. With that said, they are facing Chad Kuhl, who has surrendered 10 runs in his past two starts and his season ERA is up to 6.69. Hernandez has cooled considerably since his hot start, but he's still at the top of the lineup, one that should put up plenty of runs.
Cody Bellinger, LAD vs. MIA ($9,000):David Phelps takes the hill for the Marlins, and though his fantasy points per game average is low, that's due to the fact that he's spent most of the season as a reliever. Phelps is actually a decent pitcher, so I wouldn't advise a stack, but anytime a righty takes the hill against the Dodgers, you have to look at their lefties. Bellinger has quickly moved to the top of the lefty list, as he holds the highest wOBA against righties on the team.
Jose Abreu, CHW at SEA ($8,700):Dillon Overton takes the mound for the Mariners, and much like the aforementioned David Phelps, he's in a spot start after coming out of the bullpen prior. Unlike Phelps, he's not had much success in the past. Overton has already started once this season and the results were less than desirable. Abreu got off to a slow start this year, but he's been about as good as anyone in the league over the past few weeks. He also has a great wOBA against lefties this season at .485, which is good for 16th in the majors.
OUTFIELD
Daniel Nava, PHI at PIT ($6,400): Nava left Friday's game with a tight hamstring, but if he's healthy enough to give it a go against Chad Kuhl, then he's a good low-priced option. Kuhl has not only pitched poorly this season, he's been absolutely terrible against lefties, who have posted a .486 wOBA against him. Nava should be one of the main benefactors Sunday, as he has a .401 wOBA against righties this year, which is second-best on the team.
Mike Trout, LAA at NYM ($10,800): Trout comes at a hefty price, but on a day like this when there aren't any high-priced pitching options that look enticing, you should have plenty of room for hitters like Trout. This isn't about just using up all your salary though; Trout has a nice matchup against lefty Tommy Milone, who is doing a decent job of eating up innings but it's only a matter of time before he implodes.
Charlie Blackmon, COL at CIN ($10,500):Bronson Arroyo takes the mound for the Reds and, as always, we are left to wonder if it will be bad Bronson Arroyo or terrible Bronson Arroyo. Terrible Arroyo showed up in his most recent start against the Cubs and hopefully he'll show up again against the Rockies. Either way, Blackmon should have a big day, as he has the second-highest wOBA against righties on the team (.423) this season.
UTLIITY
Mark Reynolds, COL at CIN ($9,300): Reynolds leads the Rockies in wOBA against righties this season, which is a bit of a surprise being that Reynolds is a righty. He has a big advantage against Arroyo, not only because he's been good against righties but he also has five hits and four RBI in the first two games of this series.
Jose Bautista, TOR at BAL ($9,600): Bautista has been in the news lately, more for getting plunked than what he's doing with his bat, but he's actually produced a lot with his bat over the past couple weeks. He is averaging 7.53 fantasy points per game on the season, but over his past 11 games he's averaging 12.54. He gets a nice matchup Sunday against lefty Wade Miley, who has struggled with right-handed batters this season.
