Pitcher
Ervin Santana, MIN vs MIL ($9,300) – Santana is coming off a great outing against the Padres and has another enticing matchup against the Brewers on Monday. The Brewers enter with the highest K% against righties this season.
Catcher
Willson Contreras, CHC at SF ($3,500) – I generally don't like paying up for the catcher position since it's the best spot to find someone at the minimum — especially on a short slate — but the way Contreras is hitting lately, I have no problem putting up $3,500. Contreras enters with a .405 wOBA against lefties this season and he'll face lefty Matt Moore, who enters with a 5.80 ERA.
First Base
Joey Votto, CIN vs SD ($4,200) – Early in the season, Jhoulys Chacin was a guy that I targeted often for stacking purposes, but to his credit, he's really turned his game around. That said, the Reds are not in play for a stack tonight, but Votto is always a good option against a non-elite righty. Votto enters with a .429 wOBA against righties this season.
Second Base
Carlos Asuaje, SD at CIN ($2,400) – Tim Adelman enters with a 5.42 ERA for the Reds, but his performance recently has actually been worse than his season numbers. Adelman has posted just one quality start in his past eight outings (and we know how low the bar is set for quality starts). There aren't many quality bats to choose from in the Padres lineup, but Asuaje provides a low-cost option with a lot of upside. Asuaje enters with a .368 wOBA against righties this season, which leads the Padres.
Shortstop
Tim Beckham, BAL at LAA ($3,000) – Beckham has homered in three of his past four games and all three have come against righties. He gets another righty in JC Ramirez, who is coming off a nice outing, but is nowhere near elite right now.
Third Base
Anthony Rendon, WAS vs MIA ($3,300) – Chris O'Grady has started five games for the Marlins, and only one of those resulted in a quality start. In his most recent outing, the Nats put up six runs in just three innings. Rendon enters with a .501 wOBA against lefties this season, which leads the Nationals and is top-5 in the majors.
Outfield
Albert Almora Jr., CHC at SF ($2,100) – With Moore on the mound for the Giants, the Cubs are certainly in play as a stacking option. Considering Moore is a lefty, there's a good chance we'll see Almora Jr. in the lineup, as the Cubs are loaded with lefties in the outfield. Almora Jr. provides a cheap option in a potential stack and he's been solid against lefties all season, entering with a .403 wOBA against lefties this season.
Brian Goodwin, WAS vs MIA ($3,200) – Goodwin enters with a .425 wOBA against lefties this season, which is second on the Nats. He makes for a great stacking piece against the aforementioned O'Grady.
Mike Trout, LAA vs BAL ($4,800) – Dylan Bundy pitched a gem his last time out, which was his second outing in three starts where he resembled a quality pitcher, but he's still put up three duds in his past five. Trout enters with a league-leading .474 wOBA against righties this season.
