DraftKings MLB: World Series Game 4 Breakdown

DraftKings MLB: World Series Game 4 Breakdown

This article is part of our DraftKings MLB series.

We have a single-game Showdown on DraftKings for Saturday with Game 4 between the Dodgers and Rays. LA's pitching and deep batting order have prevailed so far, and a win tonight would leave Tampa Bay on the brink of elimination. Julio Urias will be given the task to try and get them there, while Ryan Yarbrough will do all he can to stave off the Dodgers' potent offense and help even up the series. I don't really trust either pitcher here and will mainly focus on bats with the Dodgers side as the main priority to get into lineups.

Captain

Mookie Betts, LAD vs. TBR ($10,600) Captain ($15,900): Since the pitching isn't as appealing as the first three games, there should be plenty of salary to get Betts into the Captain spot. With double-digit fantasy points in two-of-three World Series games so far, he carries the upside you want with power and base stealing prowess as has been displayed during LA's two wins. Betts is also one of the few Dodgers to have previously faced Yarborough, so there may be some familiarity from his AL days with the Red Sox.

Utility

Justin Turner, LAD vs. TBR ($8,600): Turner is about as reliable as they come at the plate. He's yet to post a zero since the Padres' series and is coming off a 21-fantasy point showcase that featured a homer and double en route to a Game 3 victory. Turner will earn the platoon advantage against Yarborough and usually finds himself in a position with runners on base with both hot-hitting Betts and Corey Seager batting in front.

Chris Taylor, LAD vs. TBR ($7,600): Taylor's salary feels a tad restrictive, but he's been a solid cog in the Dodgers' postseason run to the World Series. He's coming off one of his rare down games these playoffs when he struck out three times, but makes for a nice bounce-back spot against Yarborough who has been susceptible to the long ball and has given up three in 10.2 innings. Hopefully Taylor can display some of the power he flashed with his solo shot in the Game 2 defeat.

Randy Arozarena, TBR vs. LAD ($9,800): The ALCS MVP has been by far the most trustworthy option when it comes to the Rays' bats. Despite a couple mediocre performances to start the World Series, Arozarena got back on track last night launching a late home run that was sure to make under bettors cringe with disgust. But fortunately, this is the DFS world and that's exactly what we like to see! The Rays' outfielder is batting .382 this postseason with eight homers and is rarely at risk of being pinch-hit. If the Rays want to even up the series, chances are it comes through a big game from Arozarena.

Manuel Margot, TBR vs. LAD ($6,800): Despite this being Margot's highest valuation of the postseason, he's been the only other Tampa Bay bat outside of Arozarena who's helped the team get to this point. Normally batting in the heart of the order, Margot boasts multi-homer potential and has produced in every appearance but two if we go back to the series versus the Yankees. There aren't a lot of stats to go off of at this point, so targeting productive bats is a basic approach that can be effective when constructing lineups.
