Leaves game after hard hit
Bonar exited Saturday's 91-77 loss to Sydney after what NMFC.com calls "a heavy knock."
ANALYSIS
ESPN confirms that Bonar exited Saturday's contest late after taking a hard hit, but notes he later passed a concussion test. No word yet on whether or not the 22 year-old defender, who finished the loss to Sydney with six disposals, two tackles and a single mark to his name, will be available for a Round 23 match-up with Adelaide.

Returns in scratch match
Bonar (ankle) returned in a VFL scratch match on Saturday, according to Riley Beveridge of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Bonar underwent surgery on an ankle ligament in May and is now back to full fitness following a long lay-off. Given how much shorter his club's injury list is now than a few weeks ago, Bonar's return could see them improve their performances even more. He also recently signed a two-year extension with North Melbourne, so this is a good time to see what he can do as a fantasy option once again.

Needs surgery on ankle
Bonar is set to undergo surgery on a ligament injury in his ankle, GM Brady Rawlings announced Tuesday. "We're hoping to get him back towards the end of the year with Round 15 being the best case at this stage."
ANALYSIS
Bonar is expected to return in late-June after undergoing this operation. While his performances have been inconsistent, a 97-point showing against Freemantle is enough to warrant consideration in the right places when he's next healthy.

Subbed out with ankle injury
Bonar was subbed out in the third quarter of Saturday's 97-76 loss to Collingwood due to an ankle injury, ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Bonar has proven no stranger to injuries this season, missing Round 3 thanks to a groin issue, departing a Round 7 match versus Melbourne because of a thigh issue, then once again being subbed out on Saturday as the result of an ailing ankle. No definitive word yet on the seriousness of the latter.

Will play Saturday
Bonar (thigh) will take part in Saturday's match versus the Magpies, Dan Woods of the Roos' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Bonar was knocked out of the Round 7 match versus Melbourne prematurely due to the thigh issue but appears to be in much better shape following the week to heal up. He will resume his duties on the Roos' back line.
