Jake Waterman

Waterman scored one behind to go with 22 disposals (14 kicks, eight handballs) and made nine marks during Saturday's 90-45 loss to Collingwood in Round 20.
ANALYSIS
Waterman has looked more like a midfielder than forward over the past two rounds with 21 marks made and only one goal scored in that stretch. If his price remains reasonable, Waterman offers exceptionally valuable production for a forward with 10 goals scored all season.

Off injury list
FWest Coast Eagles
April 6, 2021
Waterman is no longer on the injury list after recovering from a back injury.
ANALYSIS
Waterman has yet to play this season and only played 10 times in 2020, so he may not have much fantasy value to give just yet.
Could miss Round 1

Waterman has improved but his chances of playing in Round 1 still aren't high, according to GM Craig Vozzo. "You'll see him doing some more work with our guys, potentially some full-group training, late this week and build back into next week. He'll be touch and go for AFL (Round 1) and at this stage probably unlikely but we're on the right track now and it won't be too long before he's back out playing."
ANALYSIS
Waterman only scored nine majors in 10 matches last season and is more of a secondary threat among the Eagles' attackers. If he can be more consistent when logging double-digit disposals, then his value will be slightly higher than it would otherwise project for now, though he still needs to get onto the field before we can learn more.
Good to go

Waterman (hand) will return to the lineup for Sunday's clash with the Bulldogs, Gary Stocks of the Eagles' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Waterman fractured his hand in mid-August, but the issue apparently won't prevent him from taking part just a month later. He has collected five goals in his last four rounds played and will aim to keep that momentum going in a tough matchup Sunday.

August 15, 2020
Waterman suffered a small right-hand fracture during the Eagles' Round 11 win over Carlton and will be forced to miss up to three weeks, Gary Stocks of westcoasteagles.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's unclear as to when Waterman suffered the injury during the match as he was able to score his seventh goal on the season but he will require surgery and should be expected on the sidelines for about the next three weeks.
