Calf
May 22, 2021
Hogan pulled up sore in Thursday's training session with a calf strain and could miss up to six weeks, Martin Pegan of afl.com.au reports.
ANALYSIS
Hogan can't catch a break with the injuries as he's been limited to just two games so far this season, first with a quad injury and now his calf. He's been excellent when he's played, with four goals apiece in his pair of appearances, and will now cede his spot to Zach Sproule until he can return.
Scores four in loss
FGreater Western Sydney Giants
May 15, 2021
Hogan scored four goals and one behind to go with 16 disposals (12 kicks, four handballs) and nine marks made during Saturday's 87-83 loss to Richmond.
ANALYSIS
Hogan is a real spark plug for the Giants and his goal in the second quarter nearly sparked a furious comeback against an experienced Tigers club. Despite the loss, Hogan is providing plenty of assurances that his production is here to stay, especially in a team that knows how to maintain possession even if they struggle to win each week.
