June 8, 2021
Blicavs (calf) is set to return for Round 13 versus Port Adelaide, Jon Pierik of The Age reports.
ANALYSIS
Blicavs will return to the lineup after missing a match versus Collingwood in Round 11. The defender topped 100 points in two of his three previous matches prior to the injury, but it remains to be seen if he can regain that level of production going forward.

Pulled late for calf issue
DGeelong Cats
Calf
May 29, 2021
Blicavs was a late scratch from Round 11 against Collingwood with a calf problem.
ANALYSIS
Blicavs didn't appear to be injured throughout training all week, so this problem must have arisen rather close to the match. With a bye upcoming, Blicavs will hope not to miss any more matches.
Excels in win

May 22, 2021
Blicavs scored one goal, made 34 hitouts, took six marks and completed seven tackles during Saturday's 91-57 win over Gold Coast.
ANALYSIS
Blicavs occasionally serves as the primary ruck and it helped him top 100 fantasy points for the second time in three weeks. As he's not topped 77 points outside of Rounds 8 and 10, it's worth being careful with Blicavs, though if he's able to stay in this productive role, there's no reason not to consider him with regularity.
Stands out in loss
DGeelong Cats
September 11, 2020
Blicavs collected 18 disposals (nine kicks, nine handballs) and made 12 hitouts to go with seven marks made and five tackles completed during Friday's 57-31 loss to Richmond.
ANALYSIS
Blicavs was sent out to the wing where he certainly made an impact but was still outmatched in the air as he dealt with more opponents than just in his positional matchup. Depending on where Blicavs is positioned, he could represent a similar value in the season finale against Sydney.
One of the Cats best Monday
DGeelong Cats
July 27, 2020
Blicavs ended with 19 disposals (six kicks, 13 handballs), two marks and two tackles in Monday's 48-16 victory over Fremantle.
ANALYSIS
Blicavs dropped easily his best performance of the season despite the wet conditions, racking up a career-high nine clearances to go with 24 hit outs. In fact, given he had a total of one clearance across his first seven games of the season, this should likely be viewed as an outlier. The defender found himself around the ball a bit more with Joel Selwood (hamstring) sidelined and that trend could continue until Selwood is able to get back on the park.
