Briann January

Following two seasons with Connecticut, January opted to return to her home state of Washington for the 2022 campaign. January is known primarily for her defensive prowess, earning WNBA All-Defensive honors seven times, including in 2021. The veteran guard is coming off of one of her more efficient offensive seasons, connecting on 38.0 percent from deep and 42.6 percent from the field overall to turn in a 55.0 true shooting percentage, good for the third-best mark of her career. She figures to have a significant role in the Storm's rotation, whether it be as a starter or a contributor off the bench.
