Torn ACL confirmed
FBurnley
May 13, 2022
Vydra underwent successful surgery on his ACL and will aim to be back later this year, according to interim manager Mike Jackson. "Vyds played 60 minutes with a torn cruciate, how he's done that I don't know."
ANALYSIS
Vydra played 60 minutes on a torn ACL, which only shows the desire he had to stay on the pitch. He's battled injuries the majority of his career in addition to often being the fourth forward option for the team. He closes this campaign with two goals and three assists from 22 appearances (five starts).

Seeking to leave Burnley
FBurnley
November 28, 2020
Vydra is looking to leave Burnley during the January transfer window, according to Alex James of the Accrington Observer.
ANALYSIS
Vydra has struggled to break into Burnley's first-team squad this season and hasn't been able to hold down a starting role, which comes as a surprising event considering he extended his contract earlier this week. Vydra wants to leave the club to gain a starting role he hasn't been able to secure at Turf Moor.
